Million
Cakes.
A celebration-focused redesign that gives the desserts, the people behind them, and the ordering process their own space.
Let the product shine without losing the story.
A cake business needs to show variety and visual craft, but its site also needs to answer practical questions about occasions and ordering. We separated Cakes & Sweets, Our Story, Community, and Start an Order rather than compressing everything onto one long homepage.
The visual direction used a softer celebration palette and product photography, with the business’s founders, dessert range, and community recognition treated as meaningful content—not footnotes.
A journey from inspiration to inquiry.
- Occasion-led discovery
Product galleries and flavors help visitors imagine a cake or dessert for the event they are planning.
- A real place for the story
A dedicated page preserves the people and background that make the bakery different.
- Community visibility
Sponsors and organizations are presented separately so recognition is easy to find without crowding the product pages.
- Better custom-order context
The inquiry flow gathers occasion, date, guest count, location, and design ideas to make the first conversation useful.
This is a private, independent redesign concept, not an official Million Cakes website or commissioned client project.
